Calling all creative people to participate in “60 Seconds to Fame!” all India one minute film competition on disability, a part of ABILITYFEST2019 India International Disability Film Festival.

Theme: An inclusive society for Persons with Disabilities

An opportunity to screen your film at Ability Fest 2019 – India International disability film festival.

“60 Seconds to Fame!” Rules and Regulations of the competition
The competition is open to all Indian nationals.
The running time of the film including credits should not exceed 60 Seconds.
The film should adhere to this year’s theme “An Inclusive Society for Persons with Disabilities”
The films can be animation, live action or both.
The film must have English subtitles/captioning even if the language of the film itself is English.
The film should not have been previously screened in public or available in any social media.
The film should be submitted as DCP file.
Submission to be made online only. Upload your film in your Google drive and share the link by e-mail to with permission to download.
An entry fee of Rs. 500/- per film is to be submitted to Ability Foundation. Details for bank transfer are given below
A high resolution passport size photograph of the film maker to be attached in the mail.
The subject of the e-mail should be the NAME of the entry film only.

National IT Competition for youth with disabilities in the age group of 13-21
Yrs (only school going or school dropout) belonging to the following categories will be
held in NIT Kurukshetra during June - July 2019
i) Visual Impairment
ii) Hearing impairment
iii) physical impairment (locomotor)
iv) intellectual /development disorder
2. Eligibility criteria for participation in the said competition are:
a) Must be in the age group of 13 -21 yrs in the above four categories
b) Must be able to work with Internet Explorer web browser, MS Office and
Scratch Programmes
c) Must be able to communicate in English
(Important Note: College and University going youth with disabilities are not
allowed to participate but school going and school drop outs are eligible)
3. The competition will be done on the following areas –

4. Details of the venue and exact date of National Competition will be intimated
to all eligible applicants separately. Free lodging and boarding of each participant
along with one escort/ parent will be made by NIT, Kurukshetra. The cost of to and
fro train / bus tickets ( upto IIIrd AC) to the participants and their one escort will
also be reimbursed.
5. Applications are invited in prescribed format (annexure –I) from Youth with
Disabilities in the categories mentioned at para 1 above, fulfilling the eligibility
criteria mentioned in para 2 above. Applications in this regard may be submitted to

No – 518, Antyodaya Bhawan, CGO Complex, New Delhi or email to on and before 31st May 2019.
6. It may noted that based on the performance in the National IT Competition,
