Job Role : Senior Programme Manager
Job Description: Purpose of the job:
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage a portfolio of projects including the
Access to Employment (A2E) programme and delivery of an inclusive digital pathway
model for promoting economic empowerment of persons with disabilities.
A2E will be testing new innovative technology that would enhance reach and employability of persons with disabilities in South Asia region. Building and maintaining relationships across teams, efficient delivery and collaborative ways of working with external agencies and actors will be key to this role.
Key responsibilities:
1. Programme Delivery:
 Management and delivery of the digital pathway model, including Virtual Livelihoods Resource Centre (VLRC), Information Central (IC), Research and Innovation Lab(R&IL) programmes
 Conduct regular review of the project, assess progress, and manage
reporting to LC SARO and LC HQ as required
 Coordinate with the technical agencies in designing, developing, testing and implementing the technology platform
 To build and manage partnerships and networks
 Engage and relationship building with the stakeholders such as
Government authorities, Employers, CSR organisations, Service Providers for effective implementation of the programme planned.
 Keeping up to date with the latest trends and provide advice on latest
technology platforms and other livelihood programmes, trending in the
development sector, job market to facilitate, enhance skilling and
employment opportunities and workplace solutions of persons with
disabilities working with the LRC partners.
 Plan and execute effective marketing strategies offline, online to reach
the targeted population of persons with disabilities, and their

 To contribute to the department plans and delivery
 To effectively manage the allocated budget and delivery of projects
 To manage team of project and technical staff and manage
prioritisation, objective settings and delivery of their work
 To work across other teams for effective delivery of digitally driven
economic empowerment programmes
 To promote positive employee relations and a culture of high
performance to ensure staff feel motivated and supported to perform to
their potential
 Deputise for the regional representative as needed
3. Communication and Learning:
 Regularly seek out ways to improve how we improve the performance
including using digital tools and social media activity.
 Ensure learning from key activities and applied to improve future
 Ensure effective monitoring of impact of activities and dissemination of results and learning across the organisation
Person specification
Essential Qualification:
A graduate or post-graduate, having significant project management experience
in international development and or CSR, with a strong understanding of digital solutions and innovation.At least 6 years of experience working in the field of empowerment of persons with disabilities, preferably in economic inclusion or employment sector

Significant experience in developing, and delivery of development or
employment initiatives with interface with digital approaches
 Project management skills working across geographies

 To be able to meet deadlines and prioritise workload
