The Karnataka Welfare Associaton for the Blind (KWAB) was established in 1967 under the karnataka Registration of Societies act 1960. KWAB is affiliated to All India Confederation of the Blind, New Delhi. The Association strives to provide the visually cahallenged, other differently challenged and even the economically deprived non disabled persons, an opportunity for education skills - development, economic rehabiliation and social integration to help them to overcome challenges of disabilities, poverty and ignorance and achieve intellectual profundity, height in skills development, economic rehabilitation for independence and social integration with capacity to contribute.
