Interested Candidates having the required qualification and fulfil the others eligibility criteria can apply online from 3 November to 23 November 2023 on it’s official website.

Educational Qualification for Classes 1-5

A candidate should be passed Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% marks and has complted or appearing in final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration) OR

A candidate should be passed Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with minimum of 45% marks and has complted or appearing in the final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration), according to the NCTE Regulations 2002. OR

A candidate should be passed Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with  minimum of 50% marks and has complted or a final year student of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years duration). OR

A candidate should be passed Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with  minimum of 50% marks and has cleared or a final year student  of Diploma in Education (2 years duration). OR

A candidate must be passed Bachelor’s degree and has completed or a  final year student of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration).

Educational Qualification for Classes 6-8

A candidates should be possessed Bachelor degree and has passed or a final year student of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration). OR

A candidate must be passed Bachelor degree with 50% marks and has completed or appeared in the final year exam of Bachelor in Education. OR

A candidate must be passed Bachelor degree with 40% marks and has completed or a final year students of Bachelor in Education, according to NCTE regulations. OR

A candidate having Senior Secondary or  equivalent test with a minimum of 50% marks and has already completed or appearing in the final year exam of 4 years  Bachelor of Elementary Education. OR

A candidate having Senior Secondary or  equivalent test with 50% marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed. OR

A candidate having Bachelor degree with 50% marks and has cleared or appearing  B.Ed with 1-year duration.

CTET 2023 Application Fee

Candidates need to pay refundable Rs 1000 for only one paper but for both Paper I and Paper II it’s Rs 1200.

CTET December 2023 Exam Pattern

CTET examination will be conducted into two phase Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for the candidates applying for class 1 to 5 and Paper II is for the candidates applying for class 6 to 8.
