Chandigarh JBT Teacher Recruitment 2023 – Educational Qualification

The eligibility criteria require candidates to possess the essential qualifications as of the closing date for submitting their applications:

1. A Graduate degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
2. A Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) with a minimum duration of 2 years, recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
   OR
   Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
3. Successful completion of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE.

The age of the candidates must be between 21 to 37 years as on 01.01.2023.

Age Relaxation for SC/OBC/ESM/PwBD and other category will be applicable as per the Govt. of India/Chandigarh Administration rules.

During Application, you need to pay non refundable Rs 1000/- (Rs. 500/- in case of SC) through online mode upto 17.08.2023 (upto 02.00 PM).

Selection Process – Chandigarh JBT Teacher Recruitment 2023

The selection’s merit list will be determined by the cumulative marks obtained in an Objective Type Test. This single test comprises 150 marks. All candidates must achieve a minimum passing score of 40%. Notably, the selection process does not involve conducting any interviews.

Negative marking will be applicable and deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for
each wrong answer.
