Jharkhand Polytechnic Tie-Breaking Rules

If two or more candidates score the same marks than the board will apply the following tie-breaking rules:

• Priority will be given to the candidates who have scored higher in mathematics.
• If the tie persists, consideration will be given to the physics scores.
• Candidates with higher age, will be given a higher rank – if necessary.
• Finally, if the tie still exists, alphabetical order of names will determine the ranking, with the candidate whose name comes first receiving priority.
